A YURT is a type of domed tent traditionally used by nomadic people in Central Asia. It is made from a wooden frame covered with felt or other materials. The walls are usually latticed and the roof is conical in shape. Yurts are typically large enough to accommodate several people and can be easily transported. They are still used today by some nomadic groups, as well as for camping and other recreational activities.
