DNA PART is an acronym for Deoxyribonucleic ACID, which is a molecule that contains the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms. It is composed of two strands that are intertwined in a double helix structure and is made up of four different types of nucleotides. The four nucleotides are Adenine (A), Cytosine (C), Guanine (G) and Thymine (T). These four nucleotides form the basis of the genetic code and are referred to as ACID, which is an acronym for Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine and Thymine.
