DIVA LEHMANN is a German operatic soprano who has had an illustrious career in the world of opera. She is best known for her performances of works by Mozart, Wagner, and Strauss. Lotte Lehmann was born in 1885 and began her career as a concert singer in 1906. She made her operatic debut in 1910 and went on to become one of the most celebrated singers of the 20th century. She was particularly renowned for her interpretations of the works of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner. She retired from the stage in 1953 and died in 1976.
