Oliver Stone is an American filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for directing films such as Platoon, Wall Street, JFK, Natural Born Killers, and Born on the Fourth of July. He has won three Academy Awards for Best Director and has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards. Stone is also a recipient of the prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
