Danny DeVito is an American actor, comedian, director, and producer. He is best known for his roles in the television series TAXI, MATILDA, RHEA Perlman's sitcom Louie, and the movie Twins. TAXI was a sitcom that aired from 1978 to 1983 and starred DeVito as Louie De Palma, a TAXI dispatcher. MATILDA was a 1996 family comedy film based on the novel of the same name by Roald Dahl, in which DeVito played the role of the villainous headmistress Miss Trunchbull. RHEA Perlman's sitcom Louie ran from 1996 to 1998 and starred DeVito as Louie De Palma, a cab driver. Finally, Twins was a 1988 comedy film starring DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger as two twin brothers who were separated at birth.
