A destructive wave is a natural phenomenon known as a TSUNAMI. Tsunamis are large ocean waves caused by earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, or other disturbances in the ocean. They can cause immense destruction and loss of life when they reach land. Tsunamis travel quickly across the ocean and can reach heights of up to 30 meters when they reach shore. They can cause flooding, destruction of buildings, and loss of life.
