The term DELIVERY ROOM VIPS refers to the people who are present in the delivery room during childbirth. The most important of these is the obstetrician (OBS), a medical doctor who specializes in pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Other members of the delivery room team may include nurses, midwives, and doulas. The presence of family members or close friends is also common. All of these individuals provide support and guidance to the mother and baby during labor and delivery.
