Neil deGrasse Tyson is an American astrophysicist, author, and science communicator. He is the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City. He has written several books on science and popular science, including Death by Black Hole and Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. He is also well known for his television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey.
