The DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) is a federal law enforcement agency responsible for enforcing the controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States. DEA employees, also known as NARCS (Narcotics Agents), are tasked with investigating and prosecuting those involved in the illegal drug trade. They work to identify, investigate, and dismantle organizations and individuals involved in the production, distribution, and sale of illegal drugs. NARCS also work to reduce the availability of illegal drugs on the streets by seizing drugs and assets related to drug trafficking.
