Edo de Waart is a Dutch conductor and composer who has held many prestigious positions in the music world. He is currently the Music Director of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Chief Conductor of the Royal Flemish Philharmonic. He has also served as the Chief Conductor of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. He has conducted many renowned orchestras around the world, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has also composed several works for orchestra, chamber ensemble, and solo instruments.
