The term Czechoslovakian refers to the former country of Czechoslovakia, which was formed in 1918 after the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The term is composed of three parts: CZECH (5 letters), SLOVAK (6 letters), and SLAV (4 letters). Czechoslovakia was a multi-ethnic state composed of Czechs, Slovaks, and other Slavic peoples. It existed until 1993 when it peacefully split into two separate countries, the CZECH Republic and Slovakia.
