Currency No More is a term used to describe the former currencies of Turkey and Italy, the Lira and the Lire respectively. The Lira was the official currency of Turkey from 1923 until it was replaced by the Turkish Lira in 2005. The Lire was the official currency of Italy from 1861 until it was replaced by the Euro in 2002. Both currencies were replaced due to their lack of stability and the need for a more reliable form of currency.
