CUB SCOUT GROUPS are organized into two levels: DENS (4 letters) and PACKS (5 letters). DENS are the smallest unit of a Cub Scout pack, typically consisting of six to eight boys or girls in the same grade. PACKS are larger groups of DENS, usually made up of several DENS of the same grade level. Cub Scouts learn important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving through activities and projects that are designed to be fun and engaging.
