HUTS are small, primitive structures made from natural materials such as mud, sticks, and grass. A SHANTY is a small, crudely built dwelling, usually made of wood or metal. A SHACK is a small, often crudely built house or shelter. Lastly, a NEST is a structure built by birds or other animals to provide a safe place to lay eggs and raise young. All of these terms can be used to describe CRUDE DIGS.
