Crazy Horse was a famous Native American CHIEF of the Oglala Lakota SIOUX tribe. He was a brave WARRIOR who fought against General CUSTER at the Battle of Little Bighorn. He was also known as Tashunca-uitco, which means 'His-Horse-is-Crazy' in the Lakota language. He was born in the Oglala village of the same name and was a member of the Oglala band of the Lakota tribe. He was a leader of his people and a symbol of resistance against the U.S. government's attempts to take away their land and way of life.
