A court judgment is a ruling made by a court of law. The term can refer to a DECREE, which is an order issued by a court, a LET, which is a formal permission or authorization, a SENTENCE, which is a punishment imposed on someone found guilty of a crime, a FINE, which is a monetary penalty imposed on someone found guilty of a crime, or a DECISION, which is a conclusion reached by a court after considering the facts of a case.
