A corrida hero is a person who participates in the traditional Spanish bullfighting event known as a corrida. The three main roles in a corrida are the TORERO (6 letters), TOREADOR (8 letters) and MATADOR (7 letters). The TORERO is the person who provokes the bull, the TOREADOR is the person who performs the passes with the cape and the MATADOR is the person who kills the bull. All three of these roles require great skill and courage and are considered to be heroic.
