CORNICE MOLDING is a type of architectural decoration used to adorn the edges of ceilings and walls. It is composed of four different elements: DADO (4 letters), ANCON (5 letters), OVOLO (5 letters), LEDGE (5 letters) and CYMA (4 letters). DADO is a rectangular block that forms the base of the molding, ANCON is a curved element that connects the DADO to the OVOLO, OVOLO is a convex curve, LEDGE is a flat surface that runs along the top of the molding, and CYMA is a concave curve that connects the OVOLO to the LEDGE.
