Ursa, also known as the Great Bear, is a constellation in the northern sky. It is one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky and is often referred to as the Big Dipper or the Plough. URSA Major, the larger of the two constellations, is made up of seven stars and is commonly referred to as the Big Bear. URSA Minor, the smaller of the two constellations, is made up of five stars and is commonly referred to as the Little Bear or the Little Dipper. Together, URSA Major and URSA Minor are known as the Constellation Twins.
