Sir Sean Connery is a Scottish actor and producer who was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is best known for his portrayal of the fictional British secret agent James Bond in seven films from 1962 to 1983. He is also known for his roles in The Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October, and The Rock. Connery was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 for his services to film drama.
