The term 'Conflicted Peninsula' refers to the SINAI Peninsula, a triangular peninsula located in the northeastern corner of Egypt. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba to the east, the Red Sea to the south, and the Suez Canal and Egypt to the west. The SINAI Peninsula has been the site of numerous conflicts throughout history, including the Six-Day War in 1967 and the Yom Kippur War in 1973.
