Computer peripherals are devices that are connected to a computer in order to enhance its capabilities. Examples of computer peripherals include printers, scanners, mice, modems, external storage devices (ESE), lineprinters, and cordless mice. Printers are used to produce physical copies of documents, while scanners are used to convert physical documents into digital formats. Mice are used to control the cursor on a computer screen, and modems are used to connect computers to the internet. External storage devices are used to store data, while lineprinters are used to print large volumes of text quickly. Cordless mice are wireless versions of the traditional MOUSE.
