The ELM is a tall tree with a vase-shaped crown and has a smooth grey bark. The OAK is a large tree with a broad crown and deeply furrowed bark. The BEECH is a medium-sized tree with a smooth grey bark and oval-shaped leaves. All three of these trees are found in many temperate regions around the world.
