Comic actor John Cleese is a British actor, writer, and comedian who is best known for his work with the Monty Python comedy troupe. He has also starred in several films, including A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures. Cleese is also well-known for his television roles, such as Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers and R. D. Blackadder in Blackadder. He has won numerous awards for his work, including two BAFTA Awards and a Grammy Award.
