A comet is a small, icy body that orbits the Sun and often has a visible coma (atmosphere) and a TAIL. The path of a comet is known as its comet path, which is made up of several components. The ARC is the curved part of the comet's ORBIT around the Sun, the ORBIT is the complete path of the comet around the Sun, the TAIL is the stream of gas and dust that follows the comet as it moves, the HALE is the head of the comet, the AJAX is the innermost part of the comet's atmosphere, the HALLEY is the most famous comet, and the BOPP is a comet discovered in 1995.
