Comedic sensation RIOT is a British comedy group formed in 1988. The group consists of four members, Mark Lamarr, Simon Munnery, Kevin Day and Armando Iannucci. They are known for their surreal and often absurdist style of comedy, which has been described as 'a cross between Monty Python and The Goon Show'. RIOT has performed at various festivals and venues around the world, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. They have also released several albums and DVDs.
