Gilda Radner was an American comedian and actress best known for her work on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. She was one of the original cast members of the show, appearing from 1975 to 1980. She was known for her characters such as Roseanne Roseannadanna, Baba Wawa, and Emily Litella. Radner won an Emmy Award in 1978 for her work on SNL. She passed away in 1989 at the age of 42.
