Comedian Bob HOPE was an American entertainer and actor who was known for his stand-up comedy, vaudeville performances, and films. He was also a prolific writer and composer, having written over 500 songs. He was one of the most popular entertainers of the 20th century, and his career spanned more than 70 years. He was also known for his humanitarian work, having been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1969.
