Rona Barrett is an American gossip columnist, businesswoman, and television producer. She is best known for her celebrity news columns and gossip magazine shows. She was the first to report on the marriage of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in 1964. She also wrote a column for the Los Angeles Times from 1976 to 1990. Barrett has been inducted into the California Hall of Fame and the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame.
