Henry was a colonial firebrand, an American patriot and politician who was a leader of the American Revolution. He was a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses and a delegate to the Continental Congress. He is best known for his famous speech, 'Give me liberty or give me death!' which he delivered in 1775. He was also a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Henry was a passionate advocate for independence and a strong supporter of the American Revolution.
