The most popular dances of this time period include the REEL, a lively dance in which couples move around each other in a circular pattern; the MINUET, a slow and graceful dance for two people; the ants, a lively dance in which couples move around each other in a line; the SAHIB, a dance performed by men and women in pairs; the CRIER, a dance in which one person leads the others in a circle; and the neo, a dance in which couples move around each other in a figure eight pattern.
