Cold-shoulders is a term used to describe the act of rejecting or ignoring someone. It can be done in a variety of ways, such as SNUBS, SHUNS, and spurns. SNUBS are a form of cold-shouldering where one person deliberately ignores another, often by not responding to their attempts at communication. SHUNS are a more extreme form of cold-shouldering, where one person actively avoids another, often by refusing to speak to them or even being hostile towards them. Spurns are a more extreme form of shunning, where one person completely rejects another, often by refusing to acknowledge their presence or even attacking them. All three of these terms are forms of cold-shouldering, and all involve rejecting or ignoring someone.
