The term CIA Forerunner is composed of two crossword solutions, Atari (5 letters) and OSS (3 letters). Atari was a pioneering video game company founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. It was responsible for the development of some of the earliest arcade games and home video game consoles. The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was a wartime intelligence agency of the United States during World War II. It was the predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
