A chromosome part is a section of a chromosome that contains genetic information. A GENE is a unit of heredity, consisting of a sequence of DNA or RNA that codes for a specific protein or other molecule. Genes are made up of alleles, which are alternative forms of the same GENE. The genome is the entire set of genetic material in an organism, and males are individuals with two X chromosomes and one Y chromosome.
