The Chevrolet Aveo is a compact car that was produced by the American automaker Chevrolet from 2002 to 2011. It was marketed as the Chevrolet Sonic in North America and other markets, and was also sold as the Holden Barina in Australia and New Zealand. The Aveo was available in both sedan and hatchback body styles, and was powered by a range of inline-four engines. The Aveo was replaced by the Chevrolet Sonic in 2012.
