Charlotte Comic is a term used to describe a group of four comic book writers and artists from the early 20th century. The group consists of RAE (3 letters), RAES (4 letters), AMALIE (6 letters) and RUSSE (5 letters). RAE was a French cartoonist who created the comic strip 'Les Pieds Nickeles' in 1908. RAES was a Belgian cartoonist who created the comic strip 'Tif et Tondu' in 1930. AMALIE was a German cartoonist who created the comic strip 'Die Abenteuer des Professor Doktor Schlotterstein' in 1910. RUSSE was a Dutch cartoonist who created the comic strip 'De Avonturen van Tom Poes' in 1941. Together, these four comic book writers and artists created some of the most iconic comic strips of the early 20th century.
