Celestial phenomena are events that occur in the sky, such as stars, planets, comets, and meteors. Two examples of celestial phenomena are novas and UFOs. Novas are stars that suddenly increase in brightness, then slowly fade away over a few weeks or months. UFOs, or Unidentified Flying Objects, are objects seen in the sky that cannot be identified. They are often associated with extraterrestrial life.
