The term CATTLE PARASITE can be summarized as a type of fly that lives on and feeds off of cattle. The most common type of cattle parasite is the botfly, which has six letters in its name. Botflies lay their eggs on the skin of cattle, and when the eggs hatch, the larvae burrow into the skin and feed off of the host animal. Botflies can cause irritation and discomfort to the cattle, and can even lead to infection if left untreated.
