The term CASSINI refers to the Cassini-Huygens mission, a joint venture between NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Italian Space Agency. The mission was launched in 1997 and sent a spacecraft to explore Saturn and its moons. OLEG is the name of the spacecraft, named after the Italian astronomer Giovanni Domenico Cassini. IGOR is the name of the probe that was sent to land on Saturn's moon Titan, named after the Russian scientist Igor Komarov.
