Canaveral is a city located on the east coast of Florida, and is home to the Kennedy Space Center. It is the site of a major LAUNCH PAD, known as PAD, which is used for launching spacecrafts into space. LAUNCH is the process of sending a spacecraft into space, and SPORT is the term used to describe the activity of space exploration. CAPE Canaveral is also the name of the CAPE located near the city, and ABORT is the term used to describe the process of cancelling a LAUNCH.
