The term CAN. PROV. refers to the four Canadian provinces of Alberta (ALTA), Ontario (ONT), Prince Edward Island (PEI) and Newfoundland and Labrador (NFLD). Alberta is located in western Canada and is the fourth most populous province. Ontario is the most populous province and is located in east-central Canada. Prince Edward Island is the smallest province and is located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Newfoundland and Labrador is located on the easternmost part of Canada and is the seventh most populous province.
