The British Television Award, also known as the BAFTA, is an annual award ceremony that recognizes excellence in television programming. It is presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and honors the best in British television from across the country. The awards are given out in a variety of categories, including Best Drama Series, Best Comedy Series, Best Entertainment Program, and Best Single Drama. The ceremony is held annually in London and is attended by some of the biggest names in British television.
