Evelyn Waugh was the author of the 1945 novel 'Brideshead Revisited'. He was an English writer of novels, biographies and travel books. Waugh was born in 1903 and is best known for his satirical works, such as 'Decline and Fall' (1928) and 'A Handful of Dust' (1934). His full name was Arthur Evelyn St. John Waugh. He was a prolific writer and wrote over thirty books during his lifetime. Waugh died in 1966 at the age of 63.
