Botanist Gray and Others is a term used to refer to the group of botanists who worked together in the late 19th century to create a comprehensive catalog of plants. The group was led by botanist Asa Gray, and included other prominent botanists such as John Torrey, Sereno Watson, and George Engelmann. Their work resulted in the publication of the 'Gray Herbarium Catalogue' which became the standard reference for plant identification.
