The term ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA is often used to describe the different stages of a project or product. Alpha is the first stage, where the product is tested internally and is not yet ready for public use. BETA is the second stage, where the product is tested by a select group of users and feedback is collected. Gamma is the third and final stage, where the product is released to the public and any remaining bugs are fixed.
