Believers is a term used to describe people who have faith in a particular religion or belief system. FANS, or four letter synonyms, are people who are enthusiastic supporters of a particular person, team, or cause. Ists, also four letters, are people who follow a particular doctrine or system of beliefs. Theists, seven letters, are people who believe in the existence of a god or gods. ADHERENTS, nine letters, are people who are devoted to a particular cause or belief system. All of these terms can be used to describe people who are believers in a particular religion or belief system.
