Bedouin are a nomadic people of ARAB descent who inhabit the deserts of North Africa and the Middle East. They are led by emirs, or sheiks, and live in tents made of animal hide. They often travel with camels, which are used for transportation and carrying supplies. Bedouin also wear long robes to protect themselves from the harsh desert climate. The SAHARA Desert is one of the most well-known regions where Bedouin live.
