The Beatles film of 1965 is 'HELP!', a British musical comedy-adventure film directed by Richard Lester and starring the Beatles. The film follows the band as they attempt to prevent an evil cult from using an ancient sacrificial ring to achieve immortality. The film was released in the United Kingdom on 29 July 1965 and in the United States on 13 August 1965. It was the second of three films the Beatles starred in, the first being A Hard Day's Night (1964) and the third being Magical Mystery Tour (1967).
