The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the NFC South division. The team joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team and has since won one Super Bowl championship, in 2002. The Buccaneers are known for their distinctive red, pewter, and black uniforms, as well as their pirate logo.
