Enos Slaughter was a Major League Baseball player who played for 19 seasons from 1938 to 1959. He was known for his aggressive base running and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. He was a 10-time All-Star and won the World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1946. He was also a four-time National League leader in stolen bases and was nicknamed 'The Man' for his hustle and determination.
